Tattoos

 We all enjoyed getting transfer tattoos in the sensory room. It was put on with a wet cloth which tickled my leg but felt lovely and cool as it was a hot day. Looks good huh? 

Cat’s Movie

 I liked watching the movie Cat’s at the Sonic Cinema at Historic Village. I tapped my feet to the music throughout the movie. 

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ........

 We had a Wilrose Christmas party the other day with yummy food then we made Christmas card and a cool photo frame for our Xmas pictures to be taken in. The Christmas music has started too .......... 

Wilrose Fun

I love this warmer weather so I can chill in our Wilrose garden with my friends then go into our sensory room and roll around the big ball. 

 

Spca visit

 I went to visit the animals at the SPCA with my friends in the Guys Group. There were some neat dogs there. 

Fishing with my friends

 I loved hanging out with friends and dong a spot of fishing off the wharf at Pilot Bay. What a relaxing morning we had. We didn’t catch any fish but we saw someone catch a big kahawai and also saw boats, swimmers and lots of seagulls 

Zero Gravity Massage Chair

 I enjoyed relaxing in the Zero Gravity Massage Chair. It moved like a gentle swing and then massaged my back and lags. There are air bags that fill up on the sides and go down that made me laugh. It was nice to sit and have a massage whilst some music was playing.

Music

 I love to entertain people with my piano playing. I make some cool tunes up and people often come along and sing and laugh with me. 

Fun and Friendship at Yatton Park

 I love going out with my friends. We went to Yatton Park this week and enjoyed exploring around.

The Men’s Shed

 I had a cool day out with my friends in Guys Group. We went to The Men’s Shed at Historic Village to watch some building and see different tools. It was nice being outside in the warm sunshine ☀️ 

New Sensory Room Wall - Aquarium

 I love our new Aquarium wall in the sensory room. We attached a giant octopus the other day to the middle of the wall - he looks cool! It was World Octopus Day too on October 8th. 

One and a Half Acre Wood Petting Zoo

 I had a great time at the petting zoo. I got up close to a goat, two kunekune pigs, some sheep, ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits, puppies, a lizard, a peacock, some chickens and also watched some eels being fed. 

Sonic Cinema - “Abominable”

 I enjoyed going to the Sonic cInema to watch a cool movie about an abominable Snowman and his friendship with a girl. It was colourful and had lots of music in it too.

Beach Wheelchair

 I had such fun time at Chapel Street Beach with my friends for the morning. I tried out the beach wheel chair as my usual one won’t work on the sand. I got right down to the water and loved putting my feet in the sand. 

Whole centre outing to Yatton Park

 I had such a cool day at Yatton Park with all my mates from Wilrose. We all hung out on the grass and played games and just enjoyed being out and together. 

Fishing at Pilot Bay

 I had such a neat time with my friends when I went fishing at Pilot Bay. Sure ....... we didn’t catch a fish but we definitely had fun trying! 

Karaoke Fun

 I had an awesome time being a rockstar! I sung many of my favourite songs and threw my hat to my friends in the crowd.

Catwalk

I got dressed into feathers and done the catwalk in front all of my friends at Wilrose then I took a photo at our very own photo booth
