During my culture sessions at work we have been learning about Aboriginal art and customs. This week we have been learning and making boomerangs.

Outing to mitre 10

This week we have been out to mitre 10 mega, Tame and i checked out the fishing rods!!!! They were really big. I've had another busy week at Arohanui this week.

Hanging with my friends!!!

I enjoy coming to work and sharing my time with my friends. Here I am with Melissa sharing musical instruments, puzzles and the abacus.

The Lakes Walk

I have enjoyed many walks with my friends. I enjoy being outside in the fresh air and feeling the sun on my face.

Rotorua Day Trip

We went over to Rotorua for the day on Wednesday. We went to Kirau Park and had morning tea then walked around the paths looking at the hot bubbly mud pools and a sensory garden. From here we went to the Rotorua Lakefront and had a picnic lunch. While we were there we saw hellicopters flying around and a sea plane landing. It was a awesume day.

Fun in Sensory

I had a fantastic time this morning! I loved the music and colourful lights and especially the tambourine and playing ball with Diane.
