Water sensory

 I love to stretch out on the floor in planet earth and beyond. This week we did water sensory. There were fish I enjoyed looking at and blue water lights on the roof. I relaxed next my friend Jason to the pan flute music. I even felt the water spay onto my arm.

Anzac park

 I loved going out to Anzac park with my friends. We went for a nice walk around the park in the sun and listened to Linda play the guitar. I liked watching my friends kick the ball around and score some soccer goals. 

Music with mates

I had a lot of fun at music today! We listened to some of my favorite songs and the staff and some friends helped me play the tambourine 

Drumming

 I played the drums this week in music! I love the sound the drum makes when I bang it

Yoga ball time!

I got to stretch out a couple times this week on the yoga ball during sensory time! I love being able to stretch on the ball and push it around on the floor.

Chapel Street Beach

 I loved going to Chapel Street Beach with my friends. It was a lovely morning and I got out of my chair and onto the grass for a bit. We saw lots of planes go overhead and a train came last too. 

The music man is back

 I am the music man ……. And I can play ……….. the keyboard! 

I have been away at home for a while but I am feeling better and back to Wilrose! I treated all my friends to some wonderful music ….. Nigel Style!!!!

Water sensory

 We did some cool water magic art together. We used kitchen paper and coloured pens to and then when we put them it water a magic picture appeared. I liked splashing the water on the tray! 

Street Art Display

 Check out this cool display! I went to check out all the street art around Tauranga and had my photo taken. There are some pretty cool pieces of art around. Now I’ve got my own one for my wall at home! 

Library Visit

 I went to the library to the cinemate movie - it was a Tom Hanks Movie. It was a little slow so I left half way through and read some books and signed the Queens remembrance book too. 

Assistance Dogs

 We had a visit from some beautiful labradoodle dogs - they were running about all over the place! I loved it ……. Especially when I got out of my chair to have a cuddle with them. 

Sensory - Swiss Ball Fun

 I love hanging out in the sensory room with my friends. I enjoyed having fun with my friend Susie and the Swiss Ball. 

Making Music

 I love to entertain my friends by playing the keyboard. It makes all sorts of great sounds and makes me laugh! 

McClarens Falls Park

 I had such a lovely morning at McClarens Falls Park. I loved the colours of the sky, trees and water. We saw lots and lots of ducks - even baby ones! The sun was shining as we went along besides the water. 

Cowboy capers

 I laughed and laughed during our cowboy morning at the centre one rainy day last week. We all got dressed up, played games and listened to cowboy country music. 

Sunshine in the Sensory Room

 Each week in Planet Earth Sensory there is a theme. This week it was “Sunshine”. We had lots of bright yellow things to look at and feel, the room was lovely and warm and we all had a fun time.
