Creative Time in Sensory

I really enjoy sensory.  I am able to get out of my chair and use my muscles and co ordination skills to pick up and throw the big Swiss ball around!  I also enjoy banging on items that will make a noise.

Out and about

Myself and Tame went for a nice walk, along the way we were lucky enough to go and see Hilda's garden, she had some beautiful plants that she allowed us to look at.

Ty the Police Dog

Paul the Police dog handler for Tauranga came in to visit us with Ty.  He was a huge dog that can help chase all the bad guys. he can run up to 50km per hour!

Working hard with my friends!

In gardening sessions we have been working hard on a project for the garden.  It is a sculpture made out of terracotta pots.  I am supporting my friend while he is sanding a pot.  We have also painted the pots different colours!

Windy outing

Last Monday we decided to go on an outing to ferguson park in mauta. Well the wind was crazy we almost got blowed away but it was great for all the kite suffers we saw out on the water having so much fun!

Awesome 80's disco at Arohanui!

We got invited to a fundraising event at our Wilrose centre.  They are fundraising for their up coming camp next year and thought that every one would enjoy having a boogie with music, themes and costumes from the 80's.  There was lots of Fluor!!!

We were very lucky to be able to have the Tauranga Firestation Staff come down to our centre and explain to us what to do in a fire.  We ran through what to say on the phone to the call centre, and also where Arohanui's special meeting place is for a fire.  The fireman even let us try on their uniform!
