Te Puna Quarry Park

We went to Te Puna Quarry Park, it was lots of fun.  I got to see an old quarry machine, lots of butterflies, a pretty awesome view from Te Puna Quarry and morning tea under the trees with all my friends.

This morning we made coils.I rolled the clay into long sausage shapes ready to built up into a pot.

Star Wars disco

Today I had a fun Star was disco in the sensory room, I played rocking space music, bashed things with the lightsaber to the beat of music, through asteroids at planets and checked out some Star Wars figurines.

Back to work with the clay.....it went everywhere,even on my nose and hair but what fun I had ! Rolling the clay wasn't easy today when it's so wet and sticky.....we did laugh a lot though !!
